Deerskin Leather

Our deerskin leather comes from the authentic North American Whitetail deer harvested in the Northwoods of Minnesota and Wisconsin during the annual hunting seasons. The hides are then sent to our trusted tannery partners in Argyle, Wisconsin, and Coey, Tennessee, where they are carefully processed.

Our tanneries provide two distinct leathers. We offer traditional, naturally hand-tanned hides for those seeking a classic, evolving patina, alongside premium chrome-tanned options for projects requiring vibrant, consistent colors and a supple feel.

Because our tanned deerskin hides come from wild animals, each one is unique: size, thickness, and natural markings vary from deer to deer. Leather may show marks, cuts, or small holes - field signs that are part of the hide's history. Please keep this in mind when placing an order.
